The Permanent Committee For Scholarly Research And Fatwa stated, “(A student of knowledge) should adhere to Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamaah (those adhering to the Salafi madhab), and populate their masjids with worship, cooperate with them to study beneficial knowledge and to deliver lessons, khutbahs (sermons), and exhortations to guide people to the truth (Salafi manhaj) and inform them about the way of the Salaf (righteous predecessors) in terms of the knowledge and practice.
You can also attend the assemblies of Al-Tijaniyyah (a deviant Sufi sect embracing strange beliefs far from Islam), Al-Qadiriyyah (a deviant sect that claims Allah has no power over His Creation and humans are independent of Allahs will), and other groups who introduce bidah (innovations in religion), go to their public gatherings and invite them to the Quran and the Sunnah with wisdom and good exhortation.
Argue against their bidah (innovations) in a way that is best. In the hope that Allah will guide them to the Right Path, but do not perform salah (prayer) behind them (the Tijaniyyah Sufi sect as their creed generally puts them out of the religion of Islam. Praying behind innovators (misguided sects) who’s deviations don’t reach the level of kufr (disbelief) is permissible).”
