The Blessing Of Salafiyyah And Realization Of Tawheed – Shaykh Abdul Azeez Al-Bura’ee

Shaykh Abdul Azeez Al-Bura’ee said, “O dear brothers, the blessing of Islaam is the greatest blessing which Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) has bestowed upon us and Allaah has increased this blessing and increased the realization of this blessing, by blessing you with the blessing of being from Ahlu Sunnah (Salafiyyah)…

How many individuals are not Muslim?

How many Muslims are not upon the Sunnah?

Due to this fact, thank Allaah and praise Allaah, who has blessed and bestowed upon you the methodology (manhaj) of the Salaf, As-Salafiyyah.

How many people trip and fall up in the darkness of innovations and in the darkness of ignorance and they try to seek victory for a statement of an individual and they try to seek victory for a particular way of thinking of an individual?

But you (O Salafi) are encouraged and excited about following the Sunnah of the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam).

O dear brothers, that it is a day that we say that we are from Ahlu Sunnah. The fact that you say that you follow the Sunnah, this Sunnah must be part and parcel of every part of our day.

So your Salafiyyah shows itself in your belief and in your methodology. You free yourselves from those groups that have gone astray, those misguided groups from the past and the modern-day misguided groups and you are upon the right aqeedah (Islamic beliefs) if you realize the true meaning of, ‘That none is worthy of worship except Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala).’ And the realization of the statement of Tawheed, this is the protection of life, all of it.

So you don’t worship except Allaah, you don’t sacrifice except for Allaah, you don’t make covenants except for Allaah, so all forms of worship are strictly for Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) only.

The realization of this word of Tawheed with regards to the provisions, you work in whatever occupation Allah has made easy for you and your having trust is with Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala), not in your salary. Because Allaah is Al-Razzaaq (الرزاق), he is the one who gives provisions, he is the one who has created you and he is the one who is blessing with these provisions.

From your Tawheed is having the pleasure with Allaah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) for everything that He has fore ordained.

So if he is giving you good health, you have praised Him and if he has caused you to become sick, you have praised Him. Anything that happens in life that causes you sadness or causes you grief or causes you to be happy, you are pleased with everything that Allaah has decreed to have happened in your life, this is the realization of Kalimatu-ut-Tawheed (the word of tawheed) with regards to that which Allaah has ordained and you are pleased with what Allaah has caused to happen in your life.

And like we have heard, that from the realization of this Salafi methodology (Salafi manhaj) is the realization of Tawheed, realizing Tawheed..

This Salafi methodology (i.e. This Salafi manhaj), in this lies the happiness of life in its entirety.

Your Salafiyyah, it must show itself in regards to your having righteous actions towards your parents, your Salafiyyah is evident with regards to your keeping the family ties, your Salafiyyah, it exemplifies itself with regards to you being a good neighbor to your neighbors, your Salafiyyah exemplifies itself with you carrying out those things trusts that you have been entrusted with and likewise this is in your being truthful in what you say, avoiding backbiting and tale-carrying and other things like this.

O Salafi brothers, the texts which have come in the Book (Quran) and the Sunnah, they must be evident with regards to how you live your life…”
